Holiday Giving Tree

The Giving Tree returns to Sierra Grande this holiday season, offering guests and community members an opportunity to support local foster children through our partnership with Rio Grande Valley CASA.

Stop in the lobby to pick up a fulfillment card for a child in need from our area communities. Return the unwrapped gift by Thursday, Dec. 18 so gifts can be distributed to children in time for Christmas.

The third annual Giving Tree is a partnership with Rio Grande Valley CASA, who advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in New Mexico's overburdened child welfare system. These displaced children sometimes enter the foster system with little more than the clothes they are wearing, with no familiar items to hold onto between homes. A personal item they can call their own is sure to brighten their days during dark times.

Participants may also donate a gift card of their choosing to be used by Rio Grande Valley CASA advocates in support of their network of foster children. We kindly request that gifts are not wrapped.
